How we handle your data

Last updated 16 August 2026

What we collect

If you join one of our lists, we keep your first name, last name and email address, along with the date you signed up. That is all.

We also store a one-way hash of the network address you signed up from. It cannot be turned back into your address, and it exists only so we can deal with automated abuse of the form.

Cookies

This site sets cookies for one purpose: keeping a ministry administrator signed in to the private planning workspace. If you are simply reading the site, no cookie is set.

How we measure visits

We use Umami, which counts visits without cookies and without collecting personal data. It works from a hash that is discarded and regenerated daily, so nobody can be followed between days or between websites. We can see that a page was read; we cannot see who read it.

What we do with it

We write to you, occasionally, about this ministry. Nothing else.

We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone. The two lists are kept separate: if you asked only for updates, you will never receive an appeal for money.

Getting removed

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also write to admin@eccevocatio.ca and ask, and we will do it by hand.

When you unsubscribe we keep a record that you were on the list and that you asked to leave, so we can prove we honoured the request. If you would rather we erased that too, ask and we will.

Where it is kept

In a Supabase database, access-controlled so that only ministry administrators can read it. The site is hosted on Vercel. Email is sent through Resend.

Asking us anything

Write to admin@eccevocatio.ca. You are entitled to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. We will not make that difficult.
